- The study provides valuable data about the characteristics of individual fundraisers and paints a picture of the current state of the profession. It summarizes fundraisers' backgrounds, employers, compensation, benefits and job satisfaction. In 2009, AFP conducted its ninth Compensation & Benefits Study. This study provides detailed data on fundraisers' salaries, benefits, and other compensation in 2008. A results summary appeared in the July/August 2009 issue of Advancing Philanthropy. The complete 2009 study is available free to AFP members. Nonmembers may purchase the report for $85 by contacting [email protected]. A one-page custom report which shows average salaries by a particular employee position, organization type, organization budget, location, staff size, and years of experience may be purchased from AFP by contacting [email protected]. The fee for a custom report is $45 for members and $65 for nonmembers.
